What makes a good personal profile?
Profiles are an art form but remember you are describing yourself in the hope that it will attract someone else. Here are a few tips to get you started.
-
Firstly, though not always obvious, complete the profile as fully as you can. Don't leave bits out - this can always put people off asking questions such as "what have they got to hide?".
-
Be honest and open about yourself and what you do with your life. Lies will soon be found out. Make sure you emphasise your good points in a positive way.
-
Don't suggest that you will be happy to travel long distances to meet people - this might not be feasible and would make for a very difficult relationship.
-
Ensure you have a least one photograph, preferably more. You are more likely to get contacted if people can see your face.
-
Don't be too specific about the partner you are looking for - this can easily put people off if they don't match your requirements exactly.
-
Don't use bad language - this can be extremely off putting when reading a person's profile.
-
Remember, it takes time to find the good things in life so be patient.
